Key duties and responsibilities
Strategy & Operational Design
Define and evolve the operational strategy aligned with overall business goalsDesign and implement operational frameworks, standards, and governance modelsTranslate strategic priorities into practical, scalable operating modelsEnsure alignment between global strategy and regional/nearshore execution Frameworks, Optimisation & Performance
Drive standardisation and optimisation of processes across functions or locationsEstablish KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting frameworksIdentify efficiency opportunities and lead cost optimisation initiativesEmbed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence People Leadership & Enablement
Lead and develop a team responsible for operational design and executionEnable teams through clear structures, guidance, and governanceFoster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative cultureAct as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders and functional leadersAct as local leader to drive alignment of P&C Objectives amongst the P&C Operations Community in Bucharest Transformation & Change
Drive adoption of new operating models and ensure sustainable changeManage cross-functional initiatives to improve scalability and agility
Required experience & competencies
Key Skills & Experience
Strong experience in operational strategy, transformation, or consulting
Proven ability to design and implement operating models and frameworks
Experience leading large-scale optimisation or efficiency programs
Demonstrated people leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on execution levels
Required Education
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), Demonstrable and extensive leadership experience in an equivalent role, ideally within the (Re)Insurance industry
