Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a vital role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Human Resources department and the business units it serves.

Key Responsibilities that the job may contain:

  • HR Service Partner Management & Optimization:
    • Actively steers and collaborates with all HR service partners (e.g., HR Shared Services, HR Recruitment, HR L3 Support) to ensure alignment with defined HR targets and efficient service delivery.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within HR service partner interactions.
  • Support for HR Business Partner & Business Units:
    • Acts as a dedicated support function for the HR Business Partner, assisting with various HR initiatives, projects, and day-to-day HRBP activities.
    • Learns from the other HRBP on strategic HR topics, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development, building foundational HRBP competencies.
    • Serves as a reliable proxy for the other HRBP when required, handling routine queries, escalating issues appropriately, and ensuring continuity of support for designated business units.
    • Collaborates closely with business unit leaders and employees under the guidance of the HRBP, fostering strong working relationships.
  • HR Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Prepares regular, insightful reports using operational HR data, defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR processes and business unit performance.
    • Conducts comprehensive comparisons between current performance and target metrics, identifying areas of weakness, analyzing root causes, and proposing actionable optimization measures.
  • HR Operational Excellence & Compliance:
    • Leads functionally HRS residents, incl. regular actively engaging with employees to address a wide range of HR-related concerns, inquiries, and issues with the utmost professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
    • Provides accurate and timely information and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits, ensuring a positive and supportive employee experience.
    • Manages and responds to HR-related requests received through various internal communication channels (e.g., email, HR ticketing system), ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic resolution.
    • Ensures the accurate and timely implementation of changes and updates within all relevant HR systems and tools.
    • Ensures that applicable legal requirements, internal policies, and collective labor agreements are correctly interpreted and fully implemented within HR systems, processes, and employee practices.
  • Payroll & Compensation Support:
    • Follows all necessary steps and procedures for the complete payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
    • Performs meticulous quality checks on salary calculations and recalculations, including the accurate reporting of tax returns to competent authorities.
    • Clarifies and resolves problems encountered during payroll processing and other HR operations, proactively finding relevant, compliant, and employee-centric solutions.
  • Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
    • Collects, analyzes, and applies complex information, evaluating new situations to enhance HR practices and contribute to problem-solving.
    • Prepares clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date procedures and guidelines for various HR processes, making them readily available and accessible to the organization.
    • Actively contributes to and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
  • Other HR Topics that may occur.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • [+3] years of experience in an HR administrative, HR operations, HR generalist, or similar role, demonstrating a foundational understanding of HR processes.
  • Solid understanding of core HR principles, best practices, and data management.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and contribute to solution development.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and strong computer skills, particularly with MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Foundational understanding of payroll processes and relevant tax regulations.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and collective labor agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Romania), with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and empathy when handling confidential employee matters.
  • High level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
