PLM Teamcenter Expert/Sr. Consultant Location: UK/Germany/Remote Skills: 1. Obsolescence Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (development, production, procurement, service, etc.) to define and streamline the obsolescence management process. Develop and implement strategies within Teamcenter and SAP to effectively manage the life cycle of materials towards obsolescence. Ensure alignment of processes and tools, including integration with external tools like "Silicon Expert," to facilitate seamless management of obsolete materials.2. Alternate & Preferred Parts: Establish methods and processes for identifying alternative parts for different components within our product portfolio. Define and manage information related to alternate and preferred parts within Teamcenter and SAP. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation and implementation of alternate part strategies.3. Vendor Part Management: Enhance vendor part management capabilities by implementing robust processes and tools within Teamcenter and SAP. Define and manage vendor information, vendor parts, and their life cycle within the PLM system. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure proper integration of vendor part management processes.4. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external PLM service providers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide guidance and support to internal teams in utilizing PLM tools effectively and efficiently. Assist in evaluating and implementing new PLM functionalities and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
