Job Description
YouGov is seeking a Junior Marketing Data & Automation Analyst to assist the Marketing Automation Team, driving the implementation of our high-growth B2B marketing strategy. This position will support with data cleansing, data management, marketing effectiveness reporting and the build of marketing automation programmes.
What will I be delivering?
- Cleansing and restructuring the marketing database to support automation and personalisation initiatives.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of data that enters the marketing database - data trust and compliance are critical to our marketing operation.
- Champion best practices and data governance, ensuring the marketing database and email programs comply with data protection regulations globally.
- Supporting Marketing Automation Specialists, with campaign building and asset curation/creation.
- Create and manage multiple data segments to execute targeted email programs across the marketing funnel.
- Conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis of marketing performance across the marketing funnel.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest data privacy legislation, as well as marketing automation techniques, making recommendations to optimise results.

Qualifications
What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
- Some experience with statistical analysis, data mining, data integration or data mapping.
Technical skills and qualifications
- Exceptional working knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A degree/higher degree in a quantitative field like computer science, mathematics, statistics or similar.
Behavioural competencies
- Commitment to the consistent practice of “test and learn” and continuous improvement while leveraging emergent trends.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- A drive to learn about our customers and products, and a willingness to master new technologies and techniques.
