The roleWe are currently recruiting an experienced B2B Marketing & Business Development Advisor to join our highly qualified, dynamic team in Bucharest. You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager in the management of the day-to-day workload, including pitching, communication, market intelligence, directories, preparing presentations and managing databases, interacting with lawyers and swiftly answering clients’ requests.This is a full-time role for a mid-senior marketing or market research professional with commercial acumen, minimum 5 years of relevant experience, highly skilled in preparing presentations tailored to clients’ needs and developing large databases.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand and constantly build knowledge on market and sectors particularities, clients’ needs, services offer, firm assets, people skills, differentiation pointsPrepare and tailor presentations, submission documents, pitch proposals in a comprehensive, professional, convincing style, actively cooperating with the lawyers team for gathering and synthetising the most relevant informationManage tools and databases, collect, update and connect the information accurately and look for improvement in the ways data is handledContribute to the communication strategy, PR and Support implementing the events tailored to clients’ needsPut authentic passion, human touch, ensure quality and promptnessMake plans happen, track development, evaluate results, give and ask for feedback, identify and propose ways for improvementThis job description is not designed to be exhaustive and can be varied as required to develop or fulfil this role.  The firm offers a genuine opportunity to experience a wide range of work in a friendly, international environment. ABOUT YOUExcellent command of English and Romanian (verbal and written)Business and PR writing skillsTop proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), preparing presentations, managing and structuring large amounts of informationHigh attention to details and quality, problem solving, pragmatic approach, strong sense of prioritising and dealing efficiently with multiple tasksWilling to invest time in understanding legal services specific context and requirementsHighly organised and able to use initiative and work with minimal supervisionAbility to work co-operatively in an international team, sharing information and knowledgeExperience in market intelligence and/or research, B2B marketing and business development, PR, CRM, project managementABOUT USDLA Piper is a global law firm with lawyers located in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
