Job DescriptionThe objective of this field function is to implement the business unit and the organizational strategies effectively and successfully trough managing and leading the sales team. The main goal is to maximize the sales of our company products in the country by promoting and servicing the products and by implementing marketing and sales activities in direct and indirect contact with the customers.If you join to us you can develop your skills in below categories: People Management: Leads, motivates, coaches, develops, and trains the sales team according to their objectives.Communicates and measures the objectives, and gives honest feedback on performances on a regular base.Has daily contact with its team (direct or indirect). The contact is managed namely via coaching, mentoring and double-visits and trainings plans.Lead in multicultural, multi-species teamInternal and external collaboration: Ensures continuous cooperation, communication and sharing of information with the Business Unit Director, the Marketing Manager, Technical Manager and the logistic team in the region.Shares and implements best practices within the country and across the region.Builds and maintains business relationships with targeted customers, KOLs and authorities and ensures customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty to the company and its products in order to meet or exceed annual sales objectives.Development and implementation of the commercial plan: Ensures the development and implementation of the yearly commercial plan and monitors the impact and comes with actions.Identifies customer needs, segmentation, drivers / barriers, and develops segmentation strategies.Represents together with the team the organization on conferences and exhibitions.Contribute to cycle meeting preparations and the agenda in close collaboration with marketing-technical departments.Reports sales activities, market trends, competitor activities and any market intelligence data.Has deep understanding of dashboard use and sales data interpretationQualifications, Skills & Experience:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial position or other relevant experience, preferentially in AH marketProven successful experience in leading and coaching people is an advantageHigh level of personal motivation and results-orientedTeam player with leadership qualities and ability to work effectively cross-functionallyExcellent communication and negotiation skills with a portion of constructive assertivenessGood sales analytical skills and a strategic mindsetExcellent organizational and planning skillsCompetent use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and in IT technology in generalFluent English (verbal and written)Ability to travel abroad 15%Current Employees apply Current Contingent Workers apply Search Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
