Mondial Relay Tech team is looking for a hands-on  Principal Software Engineer to be the technical lead, guiding the architecture and design decisions, and implementing best practices to ensure a successful transition to the  cloud  and the adoption of  microservices  architecture.    You will be a key member of the European technology team of InPost Group, numbering around 600 people, of whom 100 work within the software engineering department of Mondial Relay. You will be an actor in the transformation of our information system and participate in the execution and construction of business applications. You will work across different domains and teams touching end to end customer – supply chain journey. You will oversee the redesign of the software using the latest technologies. As a result, there is a fantastic opportunity to quickly establish yourself as a leader and shape the minds, team dynamic, and technical growth of the engineers.  What will you be responsible for?   Cloud   Migration :   Lead the  cloud migration  strategy , working closely with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap, timelines, and dependencies.  Design and  implement scalable and secure  cloud infrastructure  solutions , leveraging  cloud -native services and technologies (e.g.,  GCP ,  Azure ,  AWS ) .  Collaborate with  infrastructure  teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth transition of applications and services to the  cloud .  Optimize the performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness of  cloud  resources.  Microservices  Architecture:   Drive the design and implementation of  microservices  architecture using  Java .   Define  best practices , standards, and guidelines for  microservices  development, deployment, and monitoring.  Collaborate with software development teams to  design and build scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant  microservices .   Mentor and provide technical guidance  to development teams in adopting  microservices  patterns and practices  Technical Leadership:   Act as a  subject matter expert  on  cloud migration ,  microservices , and related technologies.  Lead and participate in  architectural reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions  to ensure high-quality deliverables.  Stay updated with the  latest industry trends , emerging technologies, and best practices related to  cloud  computing,  microservices , and DevOps.  Provide  guidance and support to cross-functional teams , including developers, architects, and  infrastructure  engineers.  Collaboration and Communication:   Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business units, product owners, and project managers, to  align technical solutions with business requirements .  Communicate complex technical concepts  and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.  Work closely with global teams, f ostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.   Qualifications 15+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience , with strong background in  algorithms and high-performance  distributed systems ,   Expert in modern programming language such as  Java ,   Experience in  cloud infrastructure  technologies  and past experiences with  cloud migration ,  Excellent (English) communication and analytical skills .   Command of French is a nice-to-have asset.  Additional Information What We Offer: Significant professional growth opportunities.
