Ensures communication with internal organization, external segments as well as raw material suppliers for all cost analysis related topics (for the assigned category/ categories)

Is responsible for the timely, appropriate and optimum response in relationship with the assigned category raw material suppliers/ is responsible for/ is central point of contact for these suppliers)

Ensures tracking of saving achievements vs budget

Implements market research for the assigned raw material categories or technologies and ensures optimum analysis and estimation/ projection/ extrapolation of market trends

Is responsible for the automatization of reports and data collection from multiple data sources (SAP, various controlling tools)

Is responsible for updating cost data within the assigned tool for the assigned categories and items following market changes and tendencies

Contributes to or creates demand vs supply analysis and provides valuable feedback for stock optimization or raw material alternative

Ensures interpretation of long term demand tendencies for the assigned categories or items in order to support optimum supply capacities and deriving appropriate negotiations strategies (prevention management)

Offers support in analyzing volume development/ supply-stock development

QualificationsEssential Skills/Qualifications

University degree in a relevant field, preferably economical or technical

at least 5 years of experience in various procurement functions;

Highly skilled in Excel/ data base harmonization and SAP;

Good command of English/ C1 as per EU Levels;

Microsoft Office tools; Advanced Excel functions

SAP experience;

Desirable Skills/Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in purchasing or project management functions, or SCM in automotive industry;

Automotive industry knowledge;

Rubber/plastics/metal materials category understanding;
