The SAP Solution Architect - FICO will be required to be an expert in SAP solution design in the FICO SAP modules with exposure to manufacturing processes with a highly integrated and diverse IT landscape. In this role collaboration with individuals across COE’s and levels (staff to SLT) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions. The SAP solution architect FICO will lead functional design on global enterprise providing SAP technical strategy, solution design and process transformation initiatives in area of process expertise, delivering defined objectives and business value. SAP solution design will be led by the SAP solution architect through taking the lead analyzing, proposing, designing and implementing new functionality and solutions within the SAP landscape. The incumbent will guide and provide ultimate direction for projects whilst being responsible for solving highly complex problems whilst maintaining highest level of influence on projects and stakeholders. New and innovative technologies within the SAP landscape will be evaluated by the SAP solution architect and recommendations and business cases presented to SLT. Standards and governance in their area of functional expertise will be set and governed by the SAP solution architect FICO ensuring adherence across the entire SAP application landscape. The solution architect will be accountable for ensuring best practices and standards are adhered to across all SAP teams for FICO. Your key deliverables : Develop, communicate, and deploy functional governance standards and best practices Drive solution architecture, ensure technical alignment and facilitate technical solution delivery Accountable for maintaining high levels of solution design, change control, standardization and reusability, demonstrating a commitment to quality. Works within Eaton's IT Organization to successfully influence the direction of key technical elements of the solution environment. Will have a broader level of functional knowledge Greater proven implementation experience on a wider range of projects with a greater scope in terms of technological and geographical span. Design and provide solutions to fit the requirements of the project stakeholders, customers, and end users conforming to the standards established by the IT organization. Review and critique the solutions of others. Assess and direct IT project activities to ensure compliance with established IT and industry standards. Incorporate information about roadmaps and evolving standards from IT peer organizations (security, framework, infrastructure, etc.) into designs by actively soliciting advice from those organizations. Additional Functions: Accountable for maintaining high levels of solution design, change control, standardization and reusability, demonstrating a commitment to quality.. Areas of responsibility include: a. Change management review and approvals throughout the change process b. Providing mentoring and guidance on industry and Eaton best practice and standards c. Strong drive for standardization and reusability whilst providing OCM support for standardization d. End-user support and communication Works across Eaton's IT Organization to successfully manage the direction of key technical elements of the SAP solution design. Areas of responsibility include: a. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 10 years in IT with experience in multiple technology platforms. 5 years' experience on enterprise-wide platforms Exceptional SAP FICO functional knowledge across AP, AR, SL, FA, GL, CM, CO-PA, PC, PCA, CCA and internal orders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all level of the IT and business include executive and SLT.
