Project: Cloud Migration FactoryThe cloud migration factory team belongs to the Cloud & Engineering department in Visma and it is a team of certified and experienced people on various public cloud providers. We help other Visma companies to successfully migrate their solutions from on-premises data centers to the public cloud and to optimize the ones that are already in the public cloud.What are we looking for?We are looking for a passionate Infrastructure Engineer for Google Public Cloud Area with hands-on experience on public cloud migrations, optimization and maintaining of web based solutions.You must love to help your colleagues and to accept their help as well. The team is international, so English is our main language. If the description above fits you, and you can check several of the following bullet points, then you should come and meet us. Your skills, experience and abilities:Proven experience with Google CloudProven experience with KubernetesExperience with IP networking, simple routing, firewall rules and loggingAbility to present and communicate the architecture in a visual formManaging production infrastructure with TerraformGood knowledge about site reliability engineering (SRE) / DevOps methodsSuperior analytical and problem solving skillsCommitment to quality with a passion for testingStrong ability to work independently as well as with highly cross-functional teamsExperience in testing, releasing and maintaining web based solutions on GCPExcellent software engineering fundamentalsIn addition, it would be an advantage if you have experience with:software development/coding web servers (IIS/Apache/lighttpd)SaaS services business software (ERP, CRM) What will you do?Create the target architecture for the solution that will be migratedWork with different internal teams to migrate or optimize their infrastructure in public cloudImplement the CI/CD pipelineBuild a production environment in a way that makes the system increasingly maintainableOur future colleague should be: Result oriented and interested in seeing and understanding the whole pictureAanalytical and eager to learn together with othersEnjoy figuring out how to make systems fail in ways that help engineers improve their designsWant to get to know us better?
