As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner in the Country Romania & Moldova.
In this role, you will be primarily focused on Sales and Offer-management as also responsible for all Finance related matters for the country Romania (including Moldova) while leading activities related to P&L and B/S responsibility, financial transparency, forecasting, governance, risk management, and internal control systems.
Your role offers great development opportunities, as you will get responsibility as a commercial key player and Management visibility in the region. The role covers the whole Grid Technology business which is separated into the Execution Units (BU) like Products, Service, Digital Grid, Storage and Grid Solution.
A close alignment with the team members as also the heads of the Execution Units is of great importance as well as Leading the people in the local Finance organization of the respective business as the In-company Manager and functional daily operations.
As the Senior Finance Manager for GT Sales, you will be responsible for all planning, budgeting, forecasting, closing, and reporting tasks in close alignment with the Finance Head.
Close alignment with the Team members as also the heads of the teams in RO.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts, in close alignment with regional teams, Sales Area Leads, and the BU Finance Head. Take full Cost & Profit Center responsibility for the GT Sales business in Romania and ensure accurate financial planning and control. Provide internal reports to regional and global management, analyzing key figures and deviations from forecasts to support informed decision-making. Lead and support monthly and quarterly closing activities in line with local and IFRS standards, including orders, revenue, margins, and provisions. Conduct cost center controlling through variance analysis, forecasting, and collaboration with cost center managers. Act as a strategic business partner, working closely with leadership and stakeholders across sales, execution, technical, and finance functions. Support and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial processes and transactions. Evaluate and negotiate customer and supplier contracts, while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and business objectives. Drive process improvements through the implementation and optimization of performance controlling methods and reporting, leveraging digital tools. Collect and analyze data to understand financial value flows and develop insights across departments to enhance regional financial performance.
What You Bring
University degree in the field of Finance, or similar education; Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or comparable. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Finance or Controlling. Sound knowledge of Excel, SAP, and ideally Tableau, Focus+, and DASH tools. Ideally, experience in the digitization of controlling processes and initial experience in the use of digitization tools ( Alteryx). Business fluent in English. High experience in closing and forecasting activities. Profound understanding of business financial processes and related systems. High analytic skills in financial KPIs. A networker who can score points with strong communication skills and good time management. Pronounced ability to work in a team and the joy of being able to make a difference together.
