Senior Tax Accountant in Bucuresti

Main roles & responsibilities:Prepare tax filings, payments, necessary paperwork, and reportsAccurate and timely submission of relevant reports to regulatory authoritiesCommunicate with local tax authoritiesKeep track of industry trends and changes related to taxesOffer support and guidance during audits.Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task doneRequired qualifications & skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics or another relevant fieldGAAP: Romanian Accounting Standards (advance)Tax code: Romanian Fiscal Code (advance)Work experience: Minimum 2-year experience in similar role (preferable in Big 4 companies)Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (advance), preferably experience with SAPLanguage: Romanian (native), English (fluent)A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered and multi-tasking environmentSystematic problem-solver with strong communication skillsHigh integrity
