Your new responsibilities The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Human Resource Business Partner in Germantown, TN .The Sr. Human Resource Business Partner role is located at the CSC in Germantown, TN. This role serves as a consultative and strategic business partner to TK Elevator North America Supply Chain and Manufacturing functional groups. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for implementing company-wide programs and processes with a special emphasis on creating a performance-based culture and driving business initiatives/results. Duties include partnering with Leadership and Employees to identify key business gaps and needs which have people or people process implications. The Sr. HRBP will partner with key stakeholders and core HR functions to develop and implement organization specific, people initiatives. Specific focus areas will include: strategic workforce assessment and staff planning, employee relations, performance management counseling and problem-solving. The role will also be responsible for supporting the life cycle of the manufacturing salaried and salaried non-exempt workforce from candidacy of employment through career development and departure as necessary.Essential duties and responsibilities: Acts as a direct liaison with CSC employees to efficiently and timely respond to internal customer inquiries regarding company policies and practices, benefits and work questions, and training opportunities.Investigates employee and manager complaints. Reviews findings with director and management, and assists with follow up actions, including counseling and training.Assists managers with recruiting efforts and advises on offer letter compensation and relocation to attract top candidatesAdministers various functions involving leave of absences, including HCM system administration, communication with The Hartford, informing employees of their rights, return to work, ADA extensions and status of employment.Facilitates performance management process with managers and employees, by answering questions and providing training. Ensures that management is completing process stages in a timely manner and process in effective and positive for employees.Reviews employment actions and requests termination approval through corporate human resources management.Reviews affirmative action data and compiles responses to OFCCP audits.Visits internal customers to perform human resources audits, pulse checks with employees and management, career counseling, and training.Leads onboarding activities for new hires and ensures that follow-up activities are conducted. Includes processing new hire paperwork and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws.Reviews time and attendance files to ensure approvals are in compliance with company policy and local, state and federal laws.Maintains data integrity of HCM system, and updates employment data as necessary.Performs other duties as assigned. What we look for 8+ years relevant work experience in human resources with a strong recruiting and employee relations background.BA/BS college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong oral and written communication skills. May be asked to communicate to larger groups on behalf of team.Strong relationship management skills with experience in partnering with coaching and building credibility with senior leaders.Ability to use professional concepts and company policies to creatively solve a wide range of difficult problems.Ability to use judgment, creativity and sound technical/functional knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions.Superior knowledge of employment law to address complex ER issues.Strong understanding of business environment, strategy, and business unit needs with a focus supporting Technology departmentsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
