Job DescriptionIntel Automotive is a leading innovator in automotive computing solutions, dedicated to shaping the future of connected and autonomous vehicles. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Release Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Release Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release process, ensuring the efficient and reliable deployment of software solutions. This role involves collaboration with development, QA, and integration teams to comply with the domain policies and regulations and implement best practices for release management.Key Responsibilities:Release Coordination: Coordinate and manage the release process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and successful software releases. Create and maintain release plans, strategy and schedules.Responsible for the Software Legal Compliance (SWLC) processes for the release, also acting as SWLC Liaison ensuring compliance with the policies of the deliverable.Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and system integrators to address issues related to releases and deployments.Maintain comprehensive documentation of release and deployment processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and best practice adherence.Establish and maintain a feedback loop to continuously improve release processes based on insights from previous releases.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.Experience as a Software Release Engineer or similar role.Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.Familiarity with version control systems Git, Gerrit).Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Very good communication skills, be proactive, responsible, oriented on results.Fluent in Romanian and English language.Inside this Business GroupCorporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment.
