Tax & Treasury Expert in Ploieşti

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax & Treasury Expert to join our team.Responsibilities:Verify weekly payment proposals for USCE, Unilever Romania, Unilever Bulgaria, and Unilever Beograd, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Process manual payments in the banking platform based on business requests, maintaining precise records.Update the Terms of Agreement (TOA) in the bank books and manage organizational structure changes.Perform daily reconciliation of bank statements to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.Extract data from SAP and prepare documentation for withholding tax (WHT) computation, adhering to regulatory requirements.Reconcile GL accounts from the balance sheet, including Meal tickets (actual and estimated cost) and withholding tax.Prepare requests for the issuance, extension, or modification of letters of bank guarantees to support business operations.Compile and prepare quarterly statistical reports for internal and external stakeholders.Provide business support for vendor-related matters, including payments, purchase orders, and invoice posting.Book invoices in SAP for Bulgaria, specifically for marketing services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Monitor the payment flow for salaries and confirm balances with suppliers, conducting reconciliations when necessary.Perform SOX controls for Serbia to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Prior experience in finance or payments coordination, preferably within a multinational company.Strong knowledge of banking platforms and financial software, including SAP.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and financial transactions.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Understanding of regulatory requirements related to tax computation and financial reporting.
