Votre environnement de travailThe recent development in Ukraine have led over 7.6 million refugees to flee over the borders from Ukraine and a further 6.3 million have been displaced within Ukraine. The estimated 17,7 million people that are stranded in Ukraine face shortages of basic needs such as water, food and medicine. 5,796,748 refugees have crossed the Polish border, 591,947 refugees have crossed the Moldavian border and 1,127,998 refugees the Romanian border. This situation has led ACF France to open Country Offices, in Ukraine, Poland and Romania and ACF Spain in Moldova. ACF has deployed a regional multi-sectorial strategy through direct implementation and partnership. Core activities are Food Security & Livelihood (canned and dry food distribution, hot meals, cash) and Mental Health & Care Practices (psychosocial support, PFA training, Baby Friendly Space, psychiatric referrals). In Ukraine strategy includes WASH activities (rehabilitation/repair of centralized water and sanitation networks as well as gas networks and boiler plants, minor repair of Collective/Transit Centers and hygiene kit distribution) as well as Health & Nutrition ones (primary health care structures support). In Romania ACF activities are implemented on the northern border (with Ukraine) and eastern border (with Moldova). ACF Poland and Romania It is a small team across two countries and multiple operational bases. Romania is coordination country with 8 international and 5 national staff, and Poland 4 international and 10 national staff. The Food Security and Livelihood team is composed of 1 Program Manager in Romania (in charge of cash program with a partner) and 3 cash officer in Poland. ACF_POL-CATIANNE Votre poste et vos responsabilités Your main responsibility is to provide a technical support to ACF project staff on Basic Needs and Cash Programmes planning, implementation and coordination.More specifically you will be in charge of : Contributing to the definition of the country strategy as well as the strategy and positioning of the FSL technical department Coordinating the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposalsOverseeing the implementation of programs/projects and ensuring that reports are submittedGuaranteeing the quality and cost-effectiveness of projectsEnsuring the active participation of ACF in national sectoral coordination and technical forums and developing sectoral partnershipsManaging the teamPromoting capitalization, technical development and research within the FSL Department Votre profil Extensive experience in Food Security & Livelihood in challenging contextExperience with partnership management and early recovery activitiesAbility to absorb important workload and work under pressureExperience in volatile environments and excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skillsExperience of team management, with ability to support and empower a large teamExcellent adaptable skill and cultural awareness and able to work with various nationalitiesFluent in EnglishKnowledge of the region and the local languages (Romanian and/or Polish) would be a plusKnowledge of ACF internal processes would be a great asset
