Job Description
As Accounting Clerk ,you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting daily accounting, especially after opening phase of Mercure Oradea.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsRecord financial data accurately into accounting systemProcess and reconcile bank statementsProcess cash transactions and reconcile cash register with Z reportsReconcile revenue postings with PMS reportsAssist with payroll processing and employee expense reportsMaintain organized financial records and documentationSupport month-end and year-end closing processesRespond to vendor and internal accounting inquiriesCompliance & Reporting
Ensure all documentation complies with local legislation and internal standards.Support preparation of all financial reports (P&L actual, budget, cash flow, forecast ).Assist internal communication between departments and administrative processes.
Qualifications
High school diploma required, Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferredAt least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferredBasic understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Saga, SAP, or similar)Strong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsFluency in Romanian (written and spoken) is required/ English proficiency is an advantageWhat is in it for you:
