Job DescriptionEssential Duties: General:• Ensure procedures and reports are current with approved methods.• Ensure final reports accurately reflect the data, results and conclusions of the testing.• Evaluate test results for suitability and designates acceptability• Prepare and review written procedures including SOPs, and other protocol test procedures and instructions that will be followed during analysis.• Ensure proper safety measures are taken in the lab. • Ensure sample and data traceability are maintained throughout testing• Ensure calculations and statistics accurately reflect the raw data• Ensure test controls and monitors are accurately recorded and reviewed• Continually work to optimize the results of the instruments with new parameters or instrument setups.• Evaluate and implement new analytical approaches, including software tools, to further strengthen the group’s technological capabilities Quality responsibilities:• Know and follow cGMP, GLP regulations. Continues to develop a cGMP awareness by obtaining a more comprehensive understanding of cGMP’s, GLP’s• Know and follow company policies and procedures• Ensure compliance on current regulations• Complete required training on time• Proper recording, interpretation, and management of analytical data• Review general data quality to determine where changes to methods or procedures could improve quality.• Review test result• Review peer's work Project Management:• Meet turn around deadlines.• Manage workflow improvements working with other sections and functions within the company to ensure successful completion and implementation.• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills in order to complete R&D activities;• Capable of designing, implementing and managing studies related to the characterization of drug product.
