For over 14 years, we have been helping enterprises and middle-sized firms worldwide transform their businesses by creating effective digital solutions using innovative technologies.The international IT outsourcing company Andersen is looking for a Ruby Developer to work on a large-scale project for one of our Luxembourg customers. The project is the development of a platform that brings together investors and entrepreneurs of eCommerce and other online businesses, making a comprehensive analysis of companies’ investment attractiveness.You have:Experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails development for 5+ years; Degree in computer science;Knowledge and understanding of OOP principles; Knowledge of and experience with Git/GitHub/Gitflow;Good understanding of REST APIs; Familiarity with other Ruby web frameworks like Sinatra, Ruby Grape, etc.;Experience with the AWS cloud infrastructure (Amazon ECS, Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.)Experience with object-oriented databases;Experience with scalable applications;Understanding of the service-oriented architecture approach and microservices;DevOps (an understanding of production deployment, continuous integration, etc.);Experience in creating APIs (for SPAs, mobile, and other servers);Practical and security-oriented approach;English – Intermediate.Nice to have:Experience with other Back-end languages and frameworks, such as Python, JavaScript, Node.js, etc.;Ability to write concise and effective tests;Open Source involvement;Education and experience in Finance (there are specifics, as simple as currency formatting, and as complex as handling financial and accounting data).The recruitment process looks like:Intro call (with the Recruiter); Technical interview; A brief interview with the Hiring Manager (on request); Offer;Interview with the client.We offer:Experience in teamwork with leaders in FinTech, Healthcare, Retail, Telecom, and others;The opportunity to change the project and/or develop expertise in an interesting business domain;Job conditions - you can work both fully remotely and from the office or can choose a hybrid variant;Guarantee of professional, financial, and career growth!
