Job Description DescriptionWe have an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional with a talent for developing new business.As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growing the business in strategic industries, working closely together with all Professional Tools sales teams in Eastern Europe (in particular Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic). Your expertise and efforts will help us manage strategic accounts, identify exciting opportunities, engage new prospects, drive relationships and define a strong sales strategy for the future. This will involve building key relationships with all sides of the business and supporting the development process from initiation to completion.If you are prepared to join our expert team and achieve great results with us, we welcome you to apply!IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Understand the specific market needs, regulation, and requirements and keep up to date on the latest changes/innovations; Increase sales of Professional Tools in this industry segment; Establish and maintain relations with companies, while building a robust database of customers and partners (CRM); Define the Professional Tools sales and marketing approach (with focus in Klauke Electrical Products) and build a comprehensive business plan together with relevant partners in the region; Explore new opportunities based on continuous analysis of the market, map biggest projects and stay updated on market trends and competition; Identify product requirements and work close with Product Management team to build stronger solution portfolio; Establish connections and partnerships with key distributors, stakeholders (associations) and experts within and outside of Emerson; Be the industry promoter and pioneer in Professional Tools EMEA organization. FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED: Proven experience in the business development in a similar international B2B environment; Strong technical knowledge, preferably in the field of tools and connecting materials for the electrical sector; Excellent communication and presentation skills, in order to establish good relations with customers in different levels; Strong collaboration skills to work with all sales teams in Europe and use existing relationships to grow business; Self-starter mentality, with a positive approach and a clear focus on high quality sales, customer satisfaction & loyalty; Flexile for travelling up to 50-60 %.
