Cloud Engineer in Bucuresti

We are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Cloud Engineer in a complex project in collaboration with our client, a multinational professional services brand of firms, the second-largest professional services network in the world, considered one of the Big Four accounting firm. In this role you will be responsible for AWS Cloud optimization Service that helps internal teams that consume cloud services, to get the most value from their cloud investment. Our service takes an application-centric approach to optimization, ensuring application performance and policy compliance. Our service provides optimization support for IaaS, PaaS and other cloud native services across Microsoft Azure and AWS with plans to expand to other CSP’s. The Cloud Optimization Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for our optimization service - including support for our IBM Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud platforms. Responsibilities  Provide technical support to our Client Engagement Management Team who, in turn, support our client teams;  Provide direct technical support to client teams on an as-needed basis;  Provide advance (L3/L4) support for our technology platforms (IBM Turbonomic and ParkMyCloud);  Support our service management and relationship management teams in helping to keep the client network informed of the continued evolution of our service;  Help to define our service roadmap - through a continuous improvement process;  Support efforts to drive our technology vendors / partners roadmaps;  Provide support as our service expands to address carbon emissions optimization;  Provide insight and guidance on improving client reporting - helping to support the client broader finops agenda;  Provide support in development of automations to help our clients maintain the optimization gains they’ve achieved - and to realize lower margin opportunities;  Participate in quarterly business reviews with our technology vendors / partners. Requirements  5+ years of experience in a similar position;  5+ years of experience in the plan, build, deployment and/or operations of Cloud Service Provider - including IaaS, PaaS and cloud native services across Azure, AWS and GCP;  Experience in cloud cost management and optimization;  Technical certification in one or more CSP platforms;  Minimum 3+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting (demonstrated ability to write scripts to drive automations across our optimization service);  Turbonomic ACE certification – is considered a plus;  Excellent communication skills - across a range of stakeholders - from very technical to non-technical;  Strong documentation skills;  Ability to work independently and excellent problem solving skills  Very good English language skills;  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
