We have an opportunity for an Financial Analyst to join our Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions team in Bucharest. As Senior FinanceAnalyst you will be a valuable business partner, ensuring value creation andsupport the PPE- Personal Protective Equipment SBU. Role is responsible of thedaily processes in the areas of financial accounting & compliance of alllegal entities registered in the Country. Role reports into the RegionalFinance Leader. The position will require significant interaction with cross functionaldepartments in addition to Commercial Finance & FP&A, Controllership,COTA, GFC Bangalore, so effective communication skills are essential
Financial Analyst responsibilities:
- Drive, review and back up for month close processes by ensuringthe entity’s financial transactions are properly accounted for and correctlyreported through FDS on a US GAAP basis, in accordance with Honeywellaccounting policies.; f.e. monthly accruals, booking and reconciliationof sales for the respective legal entities, allocation by LOB of sales andcosts , timely preparation of Journal Vouchers, determine and submit I/Crecharges, follow-up and drive resolution of any issues related to month closeactivities.
- Partnership with Controllership and COTA to ensure operationalefficiencies and transparency and timing of financial results.
- Ensureaccurate and Timely booking of I/C recharges in conjunction with controllership
- Understand any balance sheet exposures and ensure inclusion in forecasts andoutlooks
- Calculatemonthly accruals as required to ensure accurate financials
- Owns and maintain the SOP (standard Operating Procedures) for theCountry activities
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related fields
- First experience as Senior Financial Analyst for at least 5 years, extensive experience in General Finance and Auditing
- Experience with US accounting is a preferable
- Fluent English writing & speaking skills required
- Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion, use of Business Object
- Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel (but also Access)
