Your mission
The functional architect contributes to the (re)definition of business processes, designs functional and application architectures, and defines inter-application integrations, while ensuring overall consistency with other ongoing initiatives.
For Manufacting, the functional architect
- analyzes business needs to translate shopfloor reality into the new digital twin platform
- works closely with the ontology expert to help define digital twins, their behaviors, and their lifecycle.
- defines functional exchanges with the shop floor, other MES, other industrial systems such as OT, ERP, WMS, QMS, referentials etc.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Good understanding of business processes.
- Knowledge of functional modeling: BPMN, UML, architecture diagrams.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, APIs, messaging and event-based systems.
- Good understanding of management systems (ERP, CRM, repositories, MES/OT).
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Clear communication, ability to lead workshops.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (technical architects, tech leads, POs, PLs).
- Fluent in English (verbal and written), French is a plus
