The Global Greenfield Project Manager will be the key individual responsible for overseeing and leading all activities related to construction projects—greenfield, brownfield, and bluefield. This includes end-to-end project ownership: from business case creation and solution identification to contracting, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and operational handover. The role also acts as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all supporting functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, and Facilities.
Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement project strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
Maintain and continuously improve a project playbook to support scalable and repeatable execution models.
Budget Management
Own and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of internal and external resources.
Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain service quality without compromise.
Vendor & Contract Management
Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management processes for services related to construction and facility projects.
Ensure vendor performance against contractual terms and maintain a pipeline of regional and global strategic partners.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and international construction and safety regulations.
Stay informed of changes in laws affecting current and future projects.
Safety & Security
Implement and enforce safety protocols across all facilities and construction activities.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Infrastructure Projects
Lead construction, renovation, and improvement projects while ensuring transparency, quality, and adherence to budget and specifications.
Space Management
Optimize space utilization across facilities to meet organizational needs.
Plan and coordinate layout changes, expansions, and relocations.
Stakeholder & Peer Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates, challenges, and escalations.
Coordinate with internal departments and ensure resource alignment across the project pipeline.
Sustainability Initiatives
Drive and implement sustainability best practices throughout facility planning and operations.
Monitor energy usage and introduce initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response protocols in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Lead training and drills to ensure organizational readiness.
Evaluation & Reporting
Track project performance, vendor efficiency, and report on key metrics to senior management.
Update the playbook regularly with learnings, innovations, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in managing complex construction or facility projects, ideally with international exposure.
Proven track record in leading greenfield or brownfield projects.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
Knowledge of compliance, safety standards, and sustainable building practices.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
