You’ll help PwC understand, plan for, and realise strategic business opportunities in information technology.Job DescriptionPwC IT Services:Owns PwC’s three Global Hosting Centres;Manages PwC’s global applications (applications used by member firms, including infrastructure, back office, or front office solutions;Supports PwC Security Operations Centre, providing security monitoring services to the PwC network as a shared service.Headquartered in the UK, with subsidiaries in the US and Singapore, and branches in Germany, Romania, and the Czech Republic.Job Requirements and PreferencesMinimum Degree Required - High School DiplomaDegree Preferred - Bachelor DegreePreferred Fields of Study - Information TechnologyPreferred Knowledge/SkillsDemonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in deploying and configuring IaaS & PaaS cloud services for customer applications and supporting these until transition to operations including the following areas:- Leading and training a team around technology and processes to deliver services that meets the published SLA;-Deploying and configuring infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS services across Azure, GCP and AWS that have been approved by the TDA, NIS and the Cloud Programme;-Providing day-to-day support for PaaS services;-Reviewing and validating customer application designs for cloud readiness and provide guidance on approved PwC standards;-Reviewing, interpreting, refining and implementing TDA Cloud Standards;-Creating and maintaining documentation (SOPs, Best Practice, etc) for Cloud Infrastructure;-Providing 3rd level support for issues with Cloud applications as it relates to infrastructure;-Working with other team leaders and managers within Operations to deliver a consistent and available service across the GHS;-Complying with Change Control Processes and adherence to standards and documentation;-Monitoring of the Service Desk system and responding to issues that have been escalated to the GHS;-Leading awareness and compliance with all aspects relating to policy and guidelines of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including but not limited to the Information Security Policy (ISP);-Collating of data and the distribution of daily and monthly operational reports;-Performing all related job functions following established process and procedures in order to preserve the confidentiality of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co from unauthorized disclosure and to protect the integrity of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co.from unauthorized or accidental modification, and protect the accuracy and completeness of this information; and-Reporting any (known or suspected) breach in information security or policies.Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:-Delivering successful high risk IT projects;-Communicating and influencing skills both within the business and the IT community;-Serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and relationship teams providing thought leadership to promote innovation and/or cost reduction;-Researching and evaluating emerging technologies and standards to enhance business processes and/or create competitive advantage;-Leading and mentoring peers and colleagues including leading large and complex programs and communicating effectively at different levels within the organization; and-Working collaboratively and lead multi-disciplinary teams in resolving complex technical issues following the enterprise architecture vision and adhering to applicable application technology roadmaps and standards.
