Head of Product Section - Cutting (m/f/d) RO-AG-Pitesti - PIT0000KE Your tasks: Ensure the cost efficiency and supply capability in the area of responsibility; Guarantee the quality performance, the planned production outcomes and on time delivery; Coordinate the production planning; Guarantee timely preparation and implementation of the production plan; Prepare operational reports about the production progress; Ensure introduction of quality standards ; Ensure distribution of the production and the right utilization of the equipment and manufacturing resources; Control the development of production programs and schedule the production output ; Provide input and follow up for processes optimization; Lead the continuous improvement activities within the area of responsibility ; Assume responsibility for KPI’s (PCR, CAPEX, PPM, OEE, Efficiency) with daily / weekly / monthly follow-up and implement necessary countermeasures and escalation (KOSU, KATA); Identify cost reduction potential in the production area; Ensure feedback to customer questions relating to production topics; Support customer audits / visits together with leading functions; Detailed headcount planning in line with S&OP and new projects ; Motivate teams to achieve high levels of efficiency whilst maintaining / improving quality performance. Your skills: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, production or related technical field; Strong knowledge about manufacturing operation management, industrial engineering, production optimization; Very good knowledge about Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement techniques; Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in automotive industry – production field; Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading a team; Strong leadership skills ; Analytical and strategic thinking; Demonstrated ability to apply problem solving and continuous improvement techniques; Fluency in both written and spoken English ; Excellent computer skills: MS office: advanced Excel; SAP / ERP systems.
