IBM Z Storage SpecialistWhitehall Resources are currently looking for a IBM Z Storage Specialist on a remote basis for a 6 month contract.*INSIDE IR35.*Role Description: 1. IBM zSeries Storage Management skills 2. Strong Technical Project management skills 3. Experience of working in a large enterprise of scale and complexityKey Skills:zSeries Storage Management/Engineering background preferred and/or experience to equivalent levelSupporting and/or leading technical management of large infrastructure deployment projectsExperience supporting large-scale enterprise IT environment and the Embedded controls within change, incident, and problem management processesExperience working with Agile working practices and toolingExperience and awareness of security, audit, risk and compliance within enterprise IT environmentPersonal SkillsAbility to work under pressure to deadlinesStrong work ethicCollaborating with others and building a networkStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to pitch communications to a variety of stakeholders Hardware Technical Skills:IBM DS8K disk hardware installation design, upgrade and support skills including DSCLI Scripting and familiarity with HMC GUIDELL DLM virtual tape (VTE with Data Domain) hardware installation design, upgrade and support skills with knowledge of GUI, NFS and LinuxBroadcom (Brocade) DCX hardware skills and FICON/FIBRE concepts and configuration.
