Description IMMIGRATION TEAM ADVISOR – JOB DESCRIPTIONJoin our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter.This role will coordinate immigration requirements for the specific dedicated markets. Sitting within the Global Mobility team, this role will ensure that the compliance tracking for foreign hires are up to date, work with third party service partners to comply with individual employee’s immigration requirements for sponsorship of work permit & residency permits.What you need to know about this position:Own the immigration compliance for foreign hires by supporting the Global Mobility Advisors in monitoring the application for work permits of international movers and keep up-to-date internal SOPs and processes with other PS stakeholders.Track the validity of work permits and prompt the employees, line managers and Global Mobility (if applicable) of upcoming expiring dates, initiate the services of Service Providers for renewals and ensure the HRIS system is updatedIssue monthly dashboards, with key highlightsSupport the Global Mobility Advisors with expert immigration knowledge in the review of complex cases. Ensure effective cooperation with our designated immigration service provider and, on a regular basis, share immigration regulatory updatesContinuous improvement approach -recommend processes changes / newways of working to simplify and streamline processes, keeping in mind the employee’s experienceParticipate in Global Mobility projects, as requiredWhat extra ingredients you will bring:Positive mindset and proactivityVery good communication and stakeholder management skillsProblem solving skillsResults-drivenDetailed OrientedFluent in EnglishJob-specific requirements:Deep immigration knowledge in the assigned geographical area is highly recommended, including:Good understanding of the European Immigration landscape and its challengesDeep understanding of the legal environment regarding immigration processes in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia) in relation to the following areas:Legal requirements regarding hiring EU and Non-EU NationalsVisa typesNew work/residence permitsProlongation of work/residence permits for non-EU NationalsAny other areas touching/impacting ImmigrationBe up to date in relation to changes in legal aspects re immigration areaKnowledge of the Immigration landscape pertaining any other EU countries is also a plus-No Relocation support availableBusiness Unit SummaryAt Mondelēz International, our purpose is to empower people to snack right by offering the right snack, for the right moment, made the right way.
