Linux (regular) Windows Server (regular) VMware (regular) About the project The IT department of PF Logo Express is service oriented and customer centric and therefore focusses on optimizing the use of Information Systems to assure the business can efficiently and effectively service our distributors and end-customers and for the factory and warehouse to work efficiently. The department consists of various persons, representing multiple disciplines. The primary responsibility of the role focuses on Systems Management and Network and Infrastructure related activities. Your responsibilities User management (Active Directory) and installation of new hardware and operating systemsKeeping OS releases and patch levels up to dateMonitoring and management aimed for availability, stability, and securityReview of various logfiles and backup validation (Veeam)These responsibilities can take place outside the regular office hours, generally through a planned maintenance window1st and 2nd Line Service Desk supportParticipation in projects and migration processes, providing technical input and adviceExecuting the policy & procedure directives upon the IT Security PolicyDocumentation: contributing to the Disaster/Recovery Plan, Policies & Procedures document, Service Catalogue and Service Level AgreementsAfter on-the-job implementation: The systems management of our virtual (VMWare) server farm (Linux/Windows), SAN data storage, and Juniper routers/switches: installation and maintenance of Linux (CentOS) and Windows Servers, database management (MS-SQL).
