For further information, please visit the following link: and PLEASE NOTE: Your application must be submitted in English to be considered by our non-French speaking teams in our plants worldwide.PLEASE NOTE: As part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.Your position and environment?Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group is looking for you as Lean Manufacturing Engineer VIE (m/f/d), in our PITESTI, ROMANIA.Essential responsibilities and duties1/ Provide our internal Lean Manufacturing Method (named FES&P – Forvia Excellent System & Productivity) expertise and coaching (Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality, Employee Empowerment (EE), Production Control & Logistic (PC&L) and Production system) based on our principles to contribute to achieve operational business.2/ Accountable within the direct labour cost budget for the construction & achievement of an efficient plant productivity plan, through “direct labour cost management” & “direct labour cost improvement” 3/ Pilot and animate the FES&P network within their perimeter as well as participating in the BG and Group worldwide activitiesThe main missions of the role are:Provide our internal Lean Manufacturing Method (named FES&P – Forvia Excellent System & Productivity) expertise and coaching (Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality, Employee Empowerment (EE), Production Control & Logistic (PC&L) and Production system) based on our principles to contribute to achieve operational business.Compiling the data, the budget and Strategic Plan (SP) for the region (based on benchmarking and gap analysis) Share FES&P priorities within division to achieve plant targets Support shop floor diagnosis and define recommendations.Support that FES&P Principles are applied/respected in Programs from design stage (Standard Process Deployment to layout, work content, cardboard workshop activities, validation of: Equipment design, process layout, packaging, etc. in accordance with FES principles)Provide, according to needs, FES&P knowledge, and skills to the plant team, in their correct daily use of the FES&P standards (through training and coaching activities)Be an active change agent within sites, by cultivating an FES & Lean Manufacturing mind set.Accountable within the direct labour cost budget for the construction & achievement of an efficient plant productivity plan, through “direct labour cost management” & “direct labour cost improvement” Direct Labour Cost Management by plant:Contribute to direct labour budget construction by consolidating and analyzing the total Direct labour cost breakdown based on efficiency and productivity.Tracking direct labour efficiency and productivity process by using the Profit & Loss. Ensure that Plants create conditions to meet Standardize work adherence (training, rigor, and discipline application)Direct Labour Cost Improvement: Coach on the correct tool selection and effective implementation to the division. Pilot and animate the FES&P network within their perimeter as well as participating in the BG and Group worldwide activitiesLiaise with Group Experts to ensure knowledge of Group Standards and best practices are developedCoach FES network through meetings, trainings, projects, sharing best practices…QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have/be:Minimum education level: Master’s degree.Experience:Significant apprentice or 2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing Recognized experience and ability to improve process KPIs in a plant by using Lean Manufacturing Method Previous working experience of program or plant environment is a plus Skills and competenciesContinuous improvement mind-setNetwork animation, coaching and influencing/persuasion skillsDeveloped communication skills, ability to negotiate mainly internally and often at higher levelsAbility to master changeFull Profit & Loss and levers understandingFluent English language knowledge: written and spokenProblem Diagnosis and analytic skills to understand contexts and define/support the definition of action plansCustomer and Business understanding: ability to understand and manage the different customer requirements and work within a matrix environmentThe mission will last 12 months.
