What can you expect from this role?

You will work closely with the Domain Architects and you will have the opportunity to steer your career towards architecture over time. On a day to day basis, you will juggle with:

• Developing, supporting design and creating proof of concept implementations for our clients
• Driving solution delivery decisions in line with the solution design agreed with the Architect
• Supporting and performing code deployments, troubleshooting, migration, and upgrades of Magento code
• Technically guiding the junior development team to ensure successful delivery to the highest quality and drive adoption of best practices
• Covering development tasks yourself when needed in order to support the success of our Magento deliveries

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering (more than 6 years) and a practical focus on Magento development (around 3 years) across Community, V1.x and V2.x on-prem and cloud
• An understanding of the concepts\implications related to building scalable, available, resilient and reliable solutions, within Magento
• Practical experience in administrating Magento, working with its data schema, customizing the framework and leveraging the marketplace
• High level of OOP knowledge: PHP 7.x, HTML/CSS & JavaScript experience (jQuery, react.js, Bootstrap etc), Web 2.0 concepts
• Database Solutions knowledge and programming skills in SQL
• Writing UNIT Tests for high quality programming solutions
• Experience with various Application Servers, plus Business Integration would be desirable, building integrations layers with JSON, REST and WebAPI
• Experience in integrating it to other applications {PIM, Order Management, Web Content, Social, Payments}
• Proven skills in GIT, Branching Strategies
• Experience with Agile development practices
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Proficient English reading, writing and speaking skills
• Working in an international environment is your thing

• You are a flexible and forward thinker with a passion for eCommerce
• You have a proactive mindset and the ability to share your ideas and bring them to life

• Experience with Magento OMS and BI and customizing the business user tooling would be nice to have
