Operations Manager in Baia Mare

Maravet is part of Covetrus, the global animal-health technology and service provider company. We are dedicated to empowering veterinary practice partners to drive improved patient health and financial outcomes. As to reach our goals, we are expanding our team by looking for an Operations Manager for our headquarter in Baia Mare. He will be responsible for the operational activity for Maravet.Main responsibilities:Ensuring logistics and operations capabilities are aligned with business growth (including warehousing, domestic transport, freight-in/out, customs operations, facility and fleet management).Maintain and develop all logistics process in Warehousing and Transportation.Leading the teams of Warehouse Workers, Drivers, Facility, and Fleet employees (directly / through Supervisors).Responsible for operational efficiency including budget, costs, and spending with designated area.Managing the company’s logistics partnersDeveloping and implementing key metrics (KPIs), in alignment with EU Ops standards, to measure operations performanceProactive partner to the business with focus on excellent customer experience.Manage / implement all local and corporate standards and policies related to Warehouse, Transportation, Facility and Fleet area.Close collaboration with local management team and functional corporate leaders.Requirements:Bachelor‘s degree in business administration or related area3-5 years as Operations / Logistics ManagerExperience with building, developing, and leading larger teamsFamiliarity with ERP, WMS / TMS systems (preferred: SAP; WMS transformation experience)Broad understanding of logistics practices and company policies and proceduresExcellent planning / organizational skills and problem-solving abilities Good conflict resolution / negotiation, decision making and interpersonal skillsWork independently as well as with cross-functional team members; receive moderate guidance English on the B2 level (both written and verbal)Nice to have: six-sigma, lean warehousing, continuous improvementWhat can you expect from us:A challenging position where you can gain international experienceA dynamic company that is part of an international organization that has kept its authentic local values, but at the same time has the advantages offered by a corporateAn enthusiastic and ambitious team in an informal working environmentConditions of employment in line with the weight of the positionThe guarantee that decisions taken at company level are under the protection of integrityCandidates selected for interviews will be contacted by phone or email.
