Operations Specialist in Bucuresti

For our team we are now looking for an Operations Specialist to support our Romanian entity in Bucharest. This position ensures coordination, planning, provision and monitoring of all operations activities of Zimmer Biomet Romania in cooperation with the local agent and following the Operations Manager instructions and Quality system guidelines in order to assure appropriate delivery of products and services.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services with cooperation of local agent.
  • Manage the warehouse and inventory by mainly:
    • Monitoring Consignment Performance
    • Defining, monitoring and adjusting safety stocks
    • Stock, consignment replenishment
    • Product returns
    • Analyze warehouse daily workload to coordinate, organize and delegate work to Warehouse clerks.
    • Prepare instrument efficiency report.
    • Handle products in quarantine due to quality problems.
    • Coordinate the counts of warehouse and customer consignment stocks (inventorying) once a year.
    • Coordinate elimination of unused/expired material or “scraps”.
  • Monitor and update observatory prices and restructuring product pricelist accordingly, ensuring maximum gross margin per product and surgery.
  • Optimize internal customer service (order routing, complains management, walking implants etc.) with cooperation of local agent team.
  • Be responsible for the Logistics operating account.
  • Manage the contracts with transport companies.
  • Support all processes related to incidence with cooperation of ZB Romania Quality Assurance Department.
  • Supervise employee safety procedures so they are implemented correctly.
  • Continuously monitor SAP proper functioning.
  • Prepare warehouse performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with inventories as requested.
  • Create and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports (obsolescence, inventory, productivity, sales etc.) in coordination with Finance.
  • IT contact for the company.
  • Indirect purchasing responsibility.
  • Organize and monitor Medical Devices repairs with authorized Service companies.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • At least University studies.
  • At least 5 years in a similar position.
  • Experience in the sector is a must.
