Key Responsibilities

Product Sales Performance

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand the competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, incentive policies, and consumer behavior within Romania and Bulgaria passenger car market.

  • Provide actionable local market and competitor analysis, including pricing reports and benchmarking, to support effective pricing strategies.

  • Prepare segment and product analyses for BYD models to identify trends and opportunities for enhanced market positioning.

  • Interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Product Launch

  • Coordinate pre-launch activities by aligning with the internal teams (marketing, PR, sales, network development) and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of all required assets and approvals.

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to maintain transparency and ensure a smooth, on-schedule product introduction.

Product Localization

  • Monitor market dynamics, policy developments, and industry trends in real time to identify risks and opportunities for localized product positioning.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, sales, supply, compliance) to convert input from users, dealers, and authorities into regionalized product adaptations.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is a plus

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in product management, engineering, or marketing within the automotive or mobility industry.

  • Oral / written fluency in English, Chinese would be a plus

  • Strong data collection and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and present critical insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with an analytical mindset.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-national, cross-functional environment.

  • Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.

  • Results-oriented, with a hands-on approach and strong motivation to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes.

  • Valid driving license B is a plus
