Royalties specialist SrClient Description:Our client is one of the largest music companies in the world that operates in over 60 countries and has a vast catalog of artists across various genres. Focusing on promoting and distributing music from both Romanian and international artists within the Romanian market.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Royalty Manager/Financial Director, you will be responsible for:Analyzing the artist agreements to extract the relevant financial information.Setup the necessary data (import, transfer) in the Carlos Royalty Software.Review the accuracy of the Royalty Master Data and the interface with SAP.Running all necessary royalty processes for both music (Carlos) and publishing business (PREF).Review the accuracy and completeness of the royalty statements.Compute and perform the necessary adjustments for the complex agreements (Joint Ventures, Profit Share agreements, Nested deals).Perform the transfer of royalty advance amounts and amounts payable to vendors.Obtain the necessary documents from the artists (invoices, declarations).Maintenance and development of the royalty reporting systems.Performance of analytical review of the royalty expenses.Performance of quarterly balance sheet accounts reconciliations for the 3rd party royalty payable amount.Providing information used by management of the company for decision making (internal customer) as well as preparation of various statements for external users: artists, copyright societies, other record companies (external customer).Providing support, as required, to internal auditors, external auditors, corporate finance team and senior management.Review that all transactions and process flows are processed in compliance with the company procedures and SOX guidelines. A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility.Candidate Profile:Minimum required skills & education: • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of general accounting, auditing or controlling experience • University degree in business administration / accounting • Fluent in English (verbally and in writing) • Experience in financial systems, very good skills in using Microsoft Office Excel Personal Abilities: • Excellent analytical skills • Attention to detail • Able to work individually as well as part of a team • Organizational skills • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers • Open and flexible to a dynamic changing business environment
