Job Summary:
The SAP Security Consulting service ensures the integrity and security of the SAP landscape, supporting organizations in managing user access, roles, and authorizations while maintaining compliance with internal and external security standards. This service collaborates with various teams to implement, monitor, and optimize SAP security configurations, safeguarding business-critical applications.
Key Activities & Tasks:
- SAP Security Implementation & Administration: Configure and manage security roles and authorizations across SAP systems, ensuring appropriate access levels based on job functions.
- Access Control Management: Implement and monitor user access controls, ensuring segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Security Audits & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
- Collaboration & Support: Provide support to business teams and BASIS administrators for security-related issues and optimization.
- Authorization Concept Design: Develop and maintain SAP authorization concepts, including role design and user activity monitoring.
- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor the SAP security environment for potential threats and resolve issues related to access or security breaches.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of security configurations, changes, and audit logs, and deliver regular compliance reports.
Skills & Competencies:
- SAP Security Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts (roles, authorizations, profile management: PFCG, SU01, SU10).
- Risk Management & Compliance: Understanding of GDPR, SOX, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP GRC, SAP HANA, Fiori, and integration of security solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Recommended Service Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP security consulting, with a proven track record of successful SAP security implementations.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Languages: Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Certifications: SAP Security certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Security) is highly desirable.).
- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA security features.
- Experience with SAP Cloud environments.
