Role Profile:The Scientific Services Director Operational Effectiveness is a leadership role in a fast-growing multi-functional Scientific Services team of over 750 employees.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Scientific Services Leadership team, manage day to day business, identify and resolve issues and implement and manage Scientific Services Goals and Objectives to achieve strategic goalsDeputies for Head, Scientific Services or Scientific Services Leadership team members as appropriateEstablish, lead, and manage team of Shared Services relationship managers to ensure delivery to internal regional and global teams meets expectations, increases productivity, and enables strong growth at expanded marginsCoordinate effective organization of go to market support for Scientific Services teams including input to proposal and pricing and the development of new FTE and unit pricing modelsSupport monthly Scientific Services project review, financial planning and Business Review preparation directing financial business partners to provide information and insights to make business decisions (backlog, revenue, cost, margin, SAP, and PeopleSoft financial system). Lead effective management of change orders to maximize revenue Lead cross Scientific Services and priority functional initiatives. Represent Scientific Services on cross-organizational initiativesLead cross-Scientific Services communication planning and implementationExperience, Behaviors and QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's Degree in business, life sciences or related field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant function (e.g., clinical operations, applied mathematics, IT, data management, business, or laboratory)Relevant industry (CRO/pharmaceutical), with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a management capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceIQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
