The Avast Secure Browser provides a leading web browser, with millions of users, that includes built in Anti-Virus and VPN and respects and protects our users online. Responsibilities: * Implementation of core browser engine and other low level features * Build a strong understanding of the Avast browser product and web standards and technologies. * Propose and implement enhancements or architectural changes to the browser and to our features and plugins. * Propose enhancements to the teams’ way of working to elevate efficiency and delivery excellence * Implement browser requirements in a forward-thinking manner * Regular browser engine releases to keep up with changing web requirements and bug fixes * Prepare needed documentation and delivery documents * Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. * Help maintain code quality. Requirements: ●  Highly experienced with development in C++, C and implementation of web standards ●  Broad mobile experience, and polyglot familiarity with multiple languages a plus, including C, C++, Go, Rust, Java, C#, Python, Objective-C, Swift and more ●  Has experiences and sees value in client-facing work and communication ●  Familiarity with continuous integration. ●  Customer first attitude that ensures products respect and protect our customers ●  Agile attitude that understands the customer and business needs of the product ●  Quick learner, Independent, Autonomous ●  Thrive in a very engineering first team, where innovation and quality are more important than egos ●  English – Professional Working Proficiency at minimum.
