You’ll be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with some of the brightest and the friendliest people in the sector, and you’ll be helping shape an industry.THE ROLE: Senior Medical Director, CNSProvide medical leadership on project teamsProvide medical/scientific consultation and therapeutic expertiseOversee study-specific medical/safety monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, as well as ICON and Sponsor SOPsRepresent the Medical and Safety Services Department in business development activitiesProvide functional/departmental oversight in the absence of Vice President, Medical and Safety ServicesProvide leadership on the Medical Affairs management teamProvide oversight to a global Medical Affairs therapeutic group or regional Medical Affairs operationsTo be successful in the role, you will have:Five years (minimum) CRO/Pharma/Biotech industry or other equivalent experienceTwo years (minimum) supervisory or medical project management experienceAbility and willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time or as requiredExcellent communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsGood computer skills (MS: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Benefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
