Senior Specialist, Project ManagementROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe (Senior) Specialist, Project Management is responsible for managing multiple small to mid-size projects through to successful completion. In addition to Project Management, this role will also assume responsibilities for managing tools to support key department processes for Project, Demand and Resource Management as well as Reporting.   Project management, with the ability to navigate complex projects and deliver results that align with the company's strategic and operational objectives. Continuous learner, versatile in Agile Development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA) and Reporting/Dashboarding tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) Understanding of SCRUM and Agile Methodology PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS Manage a series of small to mid-size projects, including efficient coordination with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, deadlines, schedules and budgetDevelop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverablesResponsible for managing tools that support key department processes in Project, Demand, and Resource Management, as well as ReportingMaintain comprehensive project documentation, including user stories, sprint backlogs, and release plansAttend or facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Prepare and present project reports and metrics to stakeholders and senior management which clearly monitor and track project progress and address issues as they ariseImplement project risk management plans to minimize project delays and cost overruns, ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to handle unexpected issues Collaborate effectively across the team, leading by example to cultivate a strong collaborative cultureAct as a coach on how to use Agile/SCRUM practices and values to enable cross-functional teams to adopt agile ways of working to achieve complex outcomes COMPETENCIES Strong understanding of Agile principles and SCRUM frameworkExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Eager to become proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective conflict resolution skills, with an ability to explore all feasible avenues before escalationAbility to work collaboratively, leading teams to deliver project objectives in a cross-functional environment QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
