As Software Engineer in the Electrification SW Solution team, you will contribute to the design and development of a new Electrification Vehicle Integration Platform (GreenVIP) by the development of the configuration tool and the integration of embedded software drivers into the NXP Vehicle Electrification Development Platform.
Your responsibilities

Contribute to the creation of new Electrification Vehicle Integration Platform by developing the configuration tool and simplifying application configuration

Create and maintain requirements, design, architecture, configuration, code for GreenVIP solution

Autonomously drive yourself in the process of solving the customer’s requests by planning, designing, and implementing new software solutions, considering customers’ requirements performance improvement, and optimization of their products
-
Develop solutions for demonstration of software and hardware features and the validation of the software products.

Your profile
To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:

Embedded programming experience in C
-
Experience with JavaScript
-
General CPU/Computer architecture know-how
-
Debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software
-
Knowledge in area of software development processes and methods

Knowledge of GIT version control software and/or other SW configuration management

English language (spoken and written)
Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:

Automotive specific development processes (ASPICE, ISO 26262)

Knowledge of AUTOSAR standard

Experience working with low-level microcontrollers drivers for ARM Microcontrollers

Experience and understanding of developing and/or testing embedded software for Micro-controllers working with some of the microcontroller peripherals

Knowledge of Functional Safety

Knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems

Knowledge of scripting languages (PERL/Python) and the “make” tool.
A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is the targeted background.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
