Microchip Technology is looking for a talented senior engineer to expand its MSLD Software Applications department in Bucharest, Romania. The candidate will be part of a worldwide team responsible with the development and maintenance of firmware and PC-software applications.
Job Description

Technical lead of a small team of developing PC applications, tools as well as mobile applications

Develop and maintain existing PC based Graphical User Interface applications which interface with Microchip demo boards and showcase the product features.

Develop and support new examples of real-world use cases for the Microchip products, consisting of PC modules (GUI, driver, dll) and firmware modules for microcontroller-driven embedded systems.

Develop technical documentation.
Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering

PC software development experience (C/C++, Python, C#)

Embedded firmware development knowledge

Very good oral and written communication skills in English

Good understanding of communication protocols.

Basic understanding of electronic schematics
Nice to have (any of the following technologies)

Java, JavaScript and Web design experience
