The Technical Support Group in Honeywell Connected Industrial (HCI) is responsible for supporting the customer base worldwide.  The team consists of over 80 highly skilled engineers with many years of experience in advanced process technologies, located throughout the world. This position is in the sub team that supports the UniSim Design suite of simulation tools – principally UniSim Design but also covering UniSim Heat Exchangers, UniSim Flare, and other tools.  The UniSim Design Suite is used globally by operating companies like Shell, ENI and Equinor, EPCs like Worley, Technip Energies, McDermott and Fluor and Process Licensors like Linde Engineering. Key responsibilities Provide product and application support for external customers.Provide management of customer problems by excellent communication, responsive follow up and advocacy of customer issues within HoneywellCollaborate closely with the other members of the team both locally and globally to solve customer problems and to exchange knowledge and best practices.Contribute text and video-based entries to the online Knowledge Base and monthly customer newsletter.Participate in review and testing of new releases to ensure customer issues are resolved.Deliver customer training and provide technical support to the sales organization.Assist the UniSim® Design Suite Team Leader to develop and implement strong teamwork processes and standards.Key skills and qualifications Bachelor/master’s degree in chemical/Process Engineering or a closely related fieldTwo years relevant experience – use of simulation tools (UniSim Design, HYSYS, Pro/II, Aspen+, etc.) ideally some industrial experience– some knowledge of refinery processes (separation/reactors) desirableStrong understanding of thermodynamics, heat & material balances, separation, and process regulatory control.  Fluent in English; additional languages an asset.Strong interest in developing a career in the modelling & simulation field.
