Trainee Software Engineer in Constanţa

Python (junior) Java (junior) As a Trainee Software Engineer with Kainos, you will work on projects where you can make a real difference to people’s lives – the lives of people you know.  After taking part in the paid internship - our award-winning, seven-week Engineering Academy, you will join one of our many project teams, to learn from our experienced developers, project managers, and customer-facing staff. You will have great support and mentoring, balanced with the experience of being given real, meaningful work to do, to help you truly develop both technically and professionally.  The Academy will start in the summer of 2023. This is a hybrid opportunity, which means that you may be required to visit our office in Gdansk at least a couple of times per week.  What's in there for you? Full-time contract of employment as a Trainee Software Engineer (after 3 months of a trial period we extend the contract permanently) with a full benefits package; You will work on project teams to learn how to develop and unit test developing and unit testing straightforward or low complexity components and then moving on to more complex elements as you increase your knowledge; You will be fully supported by experienced colleagues in the team to follow designs and then progress to assist in any other aspect of the project life-cycle under supervision; You will develop excellent technical, team-working and Agile project experience.  What we require from you: Availability to work full time; Proficiency in English; Completed or currently studying IT-related field of study; Familiarity with some programming languages and implementation environments; Some understanding of the software development lifecycle from your studies or relevant work experience, and the relevance of different tools at different stages of the development lifecycle; Ability to make effective decisions with the support of team members, within a fast-moving delivery environment; Having an open attitude to sharing knowledge and information;  What we offer: Company share scheme plan. Private medical insurance at Medicover. Group life insurance. 3000 Pounds for refer-a-friend scheme. Reimbursement of the costs of purchasing a chair and desk to be used in the home office. Access to Pluralsight online trainings. Core hours (starting work between 8 am and 10 am). 1,5% participation in PPK. Please remember to attach your CV in English.
