Job DescriptionTier 1 Construction & Water Utilities contractorOpportunity to build capability and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectivesLong term capital works and maintenance program in western SydneyThe Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and proactive Training & Development Coordinator to commence employment on this long term frameworks contract (capital works and maintenance program) in Western Sydney.You will be responsible forDemonstrating genuine passion for our employees personal and professional developmentEstablish & maintain training management systems and processesSupport the People & Culture team with the coordination of training resources to support operationsDevelop a training needs analysis to determine the learning needs from an individual and organisational perspectiveReporting and competency tracking across the programDeveloping and maintaining in house training course materials and programsDesigning and facilitating engaging competency-based training programsDriving the design, development and delivery of interactive e-coursesCoordinating and conducting regular training sessionsVisualisation of learning metrics and reportsDeveloping rapport and effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersWhat we need from youHigh-level communication ability is essential, with verbal, written and interpersonal skills integral to success in this role. Ideal applicants will need to demonstrate relationship management strengths as a collaborative team player with clear evidence of ability to build successful stakeholder relationships.In addition, our ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate:Experience in a regulated training environment and understanding of technical training deliverablesSound understanding of the principles of adult learning, modern training principles and practices (blended learning, eLearning)Working knowledge of Learning Management systems and toolsStrong systems and reporting capabilityCertificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalentBackground in a similar role within construction & maintenance service delivery is preferredAffinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to ‘real world’ project delivery environmentsAlignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & LeadershipThis role will be based on existing and future projects within the Western Sydney area, with the head office being a newly established and modern facility, located in Sydney Olympic Park.Fulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
