A Snapshot of Your Day

The Finance team plays a key role in supporting the financial performance and commercial success of projects within the business unit. It works closely with Project Managers, Sales, Procurement, and Legal teams to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, compliant with contractual obligations, and aligned with company financial goals. As a Working Student, you will gain hands-on experience in managing projects form quotation to closure, analysing contracts, using SAP for project and order management, preparing financial reports, and understanding end-to-end lifecycle of commercial projects. This provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical finance, commercial and project management skills while contributing directly to business's operational and financial performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business model, division setup and ways of working
  • Support contract administration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Compliance with all internal rules, regulations, circulars, decisions, as well as compliance with the applicable legislative framework
  • Support the administration of projects from quotation phase through project execution until project closure
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial execution and finance related topics
  • Support the preparation of project forecasts
  • Support cost tracking and budget monitoring for projects
  • Support audit-relevant activities by ensuring traceability and completeness of commercial documentation
  • What You Bring

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Good communication abilities, effective teamwork across functions, and a proactive learning mindset
  • Reliability and sense of ownership, supported by organizational and multitasking skills
  • Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and a foundational understanding of economic and financial concepts
  • Knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics principles
  • Good excel skills - pivot tables, basic formulas, data analysis and ability to create simple reports and presentations in Word and PowerPoint
  • Openness to learning ERP and finance systems, including SAP or similar tools
